Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 780

Mia knew exactly what Naomi was up to, but she kept quiet. Molly knew too, and she didn’t say a word either. Leo, the most aware of all, was the least inclined to speak up.

Only Anya, naive and inexperienced, thought her great-aunt simply wanted to give her parents a gift. She politely said, “Uncle, Aunt, I’m already causing enough trouble staying at your place. No need to send gifts to my parents. It should be our family giving gifts to you.”

Leo placed a piece of salmon on Anya’s plate, “We’ve already bought it, just take it back with you. No need for formalities.”

“Chad~”

A straightforward man urged, “Come on, eat up. No point just calling my name; it won’t fill you up.”

Naomi chuckled, “Anya, don’t be so polite with your great-aunt. One of these days, your uncle, your grandfather, and I will visit your parents.”

“Ah?”

Mia and Molly exchanged glances and stifled their laughter.

By the end of the meal, Anya was utterly confused.

As they were leaving, Mia called her husband, who knew her location and planned to come over. Mia took her still-sleeping son, “I won’t go to Leo’s place then, I’ll just meet my husband.”

Hansen declared, “I’m full and satisfied. Time to go home, play some video games, and then sleep.” Naomi and Bruce naturally had to accompany Hansen back.

Molly linked arms with Chad, “Shopping spree on Chad’s dime.”

The family tacitly left the young couple alone, knowing Anya would leave tomorrow. They wanted to give them some alone time this afternoon.

Chad, with his arm around his little wife, announced, “Then we’re off.”

Shortly after, Andre’s car pulled up. The driver stepped out, “Ma’am, the president sent me to pick you and Henry up for the ferry.”

Mia got into the car with her son.

After seeing off the rest of the family, only the young couple remained at the door. “Chad, what are we going to do?”

Leo looked down, holding Anya’s hand, “Come on, I’ll take you ice skating. Ever tried it?”

Anya shook her head, “I can’t.”

“I’m here.”

...

Andre’s car stopped by the ferry. On the lake, a small two-story white boat slowly approached the shore. Henry, having had his nap, was woken up by his mother and looked around in confusion at the unfamiliar surroundings.

A distinguished man stepped off the boat, always dressed in a suit, even on weekends with friends. It seemed he was accustomed to such attire.

He walked straight to the car and opened the door. “Daddy~” Henry’s clear call instantly filled Andre’s heart with sweetness.

“Hey! Son, you came to see Dad.” Andre lifted his awake son.

Mia, holding an umbrella, stepped out, “Husband, I hope I’m not disturbing your reunion?”

Andre smiled faintly, “With me here, only others can disturb Mrs. Cedillo’s enjoyment. You won’t disturb anyone.”

Mia’s heart fluttered with joy, she giggled, “Husband, keep a low profile. I’ll enjoy myself in a bit. You do what you need to; don’t mind me.”

After bringing his wife and son onto the boat, they found about five or six people inside. Mia didn’t know any of them, and each man had a female companion.

“I’ve long heard of Mrs. Cedillo’s fame, glad to finally see you today,” joked a man nearby, noticing the curious Henry in Andre’s arms. “Wow, today’s a real treat to also meet Andre’s adorable Henry.”

Mia, unembarrassed, joked naturally, “What kind of fame of mine have you all heard about?”

“The most famous, of course, is your way of keeping your husband in line. Now, when Andre is out, nine out of ten sentences are about his beloved wife at home. Just now, Andre saw you from afar and personally came down to greet you, even worried about you holding the child too long.”
