Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 92

Seeing Andre look a bit confused, Mia explained, "What he meant is, business negotiations can take place upstairs, while family dinners are held in the main hall. Everyone eating and laughing together, it gives off a sense of happy vibe, you know?"

Andre chuckled lightly, "Not a bad idea, maybe next time we'll try having dinner in the main hall." Truth be told, he's never actually dined in the first floor hall before.

Mia regretted talking so much. But honestly, as long as there's good food, where they sit doesn't really matter.

Soon, word spread that Andre had shown up at Majestic Dining Enclave, supposedly for a family meal. In less than five minutes, people started showing up pretending to run into him by chance, and excitedly greeted Andre. Spotting the woman beside Andre, they asked, "Is this your wife?"

Andre looked at the girl nestled by his side and introduced, "This is my wife, Mia."

Mia greeted them with a natural charm and grace that impressed Hansen. This girl's got guts, at least she's not easily intimidated.

He recalled the first time he met Mia. Despite her purposely trying to look unattractive, her spirit and charisma were outstanding.

Hansen took a sip of his coffee, nodding in approval. He seemed very satisfied with both the taste of his coffee and his daughter-in-law.

After the acquaintances left, Mia reverted back to her childlike self, "Honey, I bet he came on purpose, don't ya think?"

"Uh-huh." Andre gently ran his fingers through Mia's hair as if he were petting a cat.

Soon, their food arrived and Mia's eyes lit up at the sight of the delicious food. "Hansen, dig in, this stuff's pretty pricey."

Hansen chuckled, "Does it not taste good?"

"Of course it's tasty. It's expensive for a reason." She took a shrimp and popped it into her mouth, the tender meat delighting her taste buds. Before she even swallowed, she added a crispy corn roll, "Wow, so good, it’s really good, honey."

Andre couldn't help but laugh and started digging in as well.

Little did they know, a pair of eyes had been watching them from the floor below. Barbara held her phone, looking up at the cheerful Mia. She dialed Jillian, "I spot her…"

Half an hour later, just as the family of three was having a pleasant conversation, they were abruptly interrupted.

"Andre." Jillian's voice carried a note of sorrow.

Then, Mia saw the fragile woman. She had tried to stir up trouble between Mia and Naomi last time, and Mia hadn't settled the score yet. But now, here she was, coming to Mia herself. Mia put down her fork, "Ms. Jilian, why are you calling my husband?"

"I need to talk to Andre." Jillian played the victim again in front of Andre and Hansen, thinking this would tug at their heartstrings. But the men of the Cedillo family aren't your ordinary men. Mia's husband only had eyes for his wife.

"My husband isn't interested in you, if you have something to say, say it to me."

Jillian turned her gaze to the indifferent Hansen, he seemed to not care about Mia’s rudeness toward Jillian. And Andre was busy serving Mia food, clearly not interested in Jillian.

She tried again, "Andre, I need to speak with you. Could you step aside for a moment?"

Suddenly, Mia clutched her stomach in pain, "Ah!"

"What's wrong?" Andre asked his wife with concern. Hansen also looked worriedly at his daughter-in-law. Was she having stomach issues too?

Mia shot Jillian a glance before turning to her husband, "I think it's the baby kicking."

"Wha-" Hansen spat out his water.
