The sound of the car crash was deafening, like it happened right next to them. But when Seraphina snapped back to reality, Leandro's car was still moving smoothly. She quickly turned her head and saw the crash site. A black SUV had collided head-on with a silver car coming straight at them.

Based on the positioning, it appeared that the black SUV had approached from behind Leandro's car, effectively blocking the silver one. But where had this black SUV suddenly appeared from?

Seraphina was taken aback, stealing a glance at Leandro. The crash had occurred directly before them, yet Leandro remained unflustered. His demeanor was calm, and he displayed no signs of concern. Just like before, his attention was solely on the road ahead.

It was as if the crash had never happened. Or, perhaps, he had been expecting it.

Reflecting on how he had abruptly instructed her to buckle up earlier, the pieces seemed to fall into place, sparking fear within Seraphina. Even if she could anticipate such a crisis, how was it possible for Leandro to know and prepare in advance? She fixed her gaze on the side of Leandro's face, forcing herself to regain composure. Slowly, she broke the silence, "Mr. Reynolds, there was a car crash just now."

"Hmm." Leandro only responded with one word.

Seraphina had no choice but to continue: "As witnesses, shouldn't we call the police?"

"Do you really want to call the police?" Leandro's cold voice was laced with obvious sarcasm.

Seraphina paused, then looked at Leandro again. Leandro finally turned his head and glanced at her. In that moment, she was sure of one thing - Leandro knew her real purpose!

Not only did he know her real purpose, but he also saw through all her moves. But he didn't expose her, instead, he followed her steps and helped her create all the conditions she needed!

But how was that possible?
