“Thank you all for coming!” Colt said when things quieted down.” Have a good evening! As much as we would like to hang around, we need to go change and head out.”
People got up and started leaving. Colt took my hand and walked us out of the room. Thankfully he kept a firm grip because people kept trying to get my attention to say congratulations.
