Temptation From Her Ex-husband novel Chapter 1289

Although Alison had just zoned out for one minute or so, she couldn’t understand what the math teacher said during the rest of the class.

She was gazing at the blackboard with a pen in her hand, but she couldn't grasp anything.

When Luis noticed that she had stopped taking notes, he thought that she suddenly became smart and could understand the two math problems.

However, when the class was about to end and the math teacher asked them to review the two math problems, Alison pushed her notebook in front of him and asked in a trembling voice. "Could you explain the two math problems to me? I failed to follow the teacher's explanation."

Alison had never been so embarrassed.' Maybe I cannot learn math well, but even so, how could I zone out while the teacher was explaining the math problems?'

Luis was quite good at math, as he usually solved math problems quickly and correctly.

But Alison was different. Though she had only zoned out for one minute or so, she couldn't follow the teacher's explanation.

By the time she understood the first several steps of the answer to the first math problem, the teacher had already begun to delineate the second math problem.

Alison could only turn her attention to the second math problem and had no time to take notes. Though she had concentrated her attention on the second math problem, she still missed the point.

She really wanted to cry.

Alison's voice was soft, but it was tinged with nervousness, as if she was going to cry. When Luis heard her voice, his heart seemed to be beating faster.

Casting a glance at Alison, he found her eyes red. He thought that if he refused, she would cry immediately.

He clicked his tongue impatiently and then took her notebook to quickly write down the detailed answers to the two math problems. "Here you are."

Alison glanced at Luis gratefully. "Thank you."
