Seeing that Scarlett left and Raymond still stood there, Alexander was anxious. "Are you going to miss such a good opportunity?"
Raymond coldly glanced at him, his mouth twitching." That's enough, Alexander."
Alexander wanted to chase him out just now to play cards with Scarlett.
Alexander finally felt guilty. "It was just talk."
"Huh."
Raymond snorted and was about to turn to leave when he glimpsed something flashing on the ground.
He paused and leaned down. A diamond earring was shining on the carpet.
Raymond picked it up and looked at it for a while. He then took out a handkerchief from the pocket of his trousers, wrapped the earring carefully, and put it into his pocket.
This was Scarlett's earring.
When Scarlett took off her earring before taking a bath, she realized that her earring had disappeared from her right ear. She couldn't help frowning. This pair of earrings were designed and made by Alexis,
who gave them to Scarlett on her birthday.
With a magnifying glass, people could see an "S" on the earring in her left ear and an "R" on the other one, which meant her name, Scarlett Reed.
She went to several places today, having no idea where she lost her earring.
Besides, even if she knew, it would be hard to find such a small earring.
She sighed.
Probably because of it, Scarlett didn't sleep well. She was woken up by a nightmare. Her face was drenched with sweat.
She thought she had slept for a long time, but when she looked at the clock, she found that only two hours had passed.
Scarlett turned on the light, got out of bed, and poured a glass of water. Feeling it was a little cold, she said," Hilla, help me boil some water."
"Okay, master."
She fell asleep again and didn't dream this time.
When she woke up the next day, the sky was bright. The curtains were slowly drawn. Sunshine came through the window. Scarlett squinted.
She had a morning meeting today.
