Temptation From Her Ex-husband novel Chapter 370

Scarlett lowered her head and said, "Yes."

If Raymond had not sent a car to pick her up, she would still be waiting for a taxi to magically show up a t the subway station.

"Ms. Reed, Crain Vision Entertainment Co. Ltd. said that Mr. Smith's secretary called them and said that the creator, actors and some other staff of Lost Youth will have dinner together at 6 pm tomorrow. And they want to invite you to join them."

Scarlett raised an eyebrow and remembered what Alexander had said the other day, so she replied, "I will go."

"Okay, then I'll get out of your hair now."

"Thank you."

She had gotten the script of Lost Youth from Alexander, which was a lucrative business. Although she didn't like such gatherings very much, she would have to attend this dinner because she had made a lot of money.

Scarlett smiled, and as soon as she turned her head, she saw Raymond sleeping on the sofa.

The top two buttons of his shirt which she had pulled open hadn't been buttoned yet, so his neckline was now loosely open. But because he was leaning back, the shirt looked skin-tight on his body, which was very different from the looseness at the neckline.

Scarlett's face got flushed because she was a conservative person.

Raymond's people brought food here at about 1:20 pm. When Scarlett got the food back from downstairs, Raymond had already woken up.

He had just woken up, so his eyes were a little dazed, looking less cold than usual. He stared at her for a while and called in a hoarse voice, "Scarlett."

She doubted it was her delusion that Raymond's voice was inexplicably more tender and loving. Therefore, when she heard him calling her name, her hands carrying the food trembled.

But her face remained calm. She cast a casual glance a t him and said, "Here is our lunch." With that, Scarlett put the bag on the dining table and opened it.

Raymond had had a nightmare just now that he had broken into Scarlett and Larry's wedding like a madman, trying to take her away, but Larry had protected her well. She had been standing behind Larry with a cold pretty face and said ruthlessly," Raymond, I told you we are strangers now."
