Scarlett thought Raymond was really cunning because he always reappeared to disturb her emotions after she had spent three or five days to calm herself down.
She hadn't slept well for two nights because of the inexplicable hug and the words he had said on the couch when he had imprisoned her in his arms.
Due to lack of sleep, Scarlett felt upset, so she even looked gloomy when seeing Alexander.
Seeing Scarlett come in, Alexander wanted to take the initiative to say hello, but he felt inexplicably guilty when he saw her strange half-smile.
Why was her expression so similar to Raymond’s?
But he was sure he had not offended her!
So, he asked, "Are you having your period today?"
Women tended to have bad tempers during their menstrual periods. If it was this case, Alexander would restrain himself during the dinner.
Scarlett laughed angrily at Alexander's abruptness and shamelessness and said, "Alexander, your way of greeting is unique. You asked about a lady's period as soon as you opened your mouth."
Alexander choked up and then said, "Don't get me
wrong! I said that because you're not looking too well today."
Of course, he had more wanted to say that she looked bad-tempered today.
Scarlett smiled, "Really? There must be something wrong with your eyes because all my subordinates praised me for looking good."
After knowing them for a long time, Scarlett felt she had become more thick-skinned because she could remain calm when lying now.
Alas, it was true that he that lay down with dogs must rise up with flea.
Alexander tut-tutted, "Fine! That's probably because I didn't sleep well last night."
Scarlett glanced at him, smiled meaningfully, and kept silent.
They then entered the elevator together. Alexander was a man who couldn't stop talking, so he said, "Can I tell you something?"
"No, you can't."
Alexander thought her temper was really as bad as Raymond's!
