He could make simple porridge, but he had never cooked dishes.
"I trust you!"
"Okay."
Half an hour later, Scarlett was standing outside the kitchen, looking at Raymond who was wearing an apron. She was lost in thought.
She just said that on a whim, but unexpectedly, Raymond asked someone to send the ingredients over.
Scarlett's mother was bad at cooking. Her father cooked for them. Sometimes
Scarlett's mother asked her to cook with her father, but Scarlett always burnt the
ingredients.
Scarlett's mother watched by her side, asking with amusement and concern, "You can't cook. What if you have to cook after getting married?"
Whenever this happened, Scarlett's father would say, "My sweetie is so pretty and smart. Who would ask her to cook? She can marry a man who is willing to cook for her."
If her dad were still alive, he would like Raymond.
What a pity!
"What are you thinking about, baby?"
A low mellow voice suddenly came over. Scarlett came out of her trance. She looked up, seeing Raymond standing in front of her. He was wearing a lovely apron printed with a cartoon figure. It was chosen by Scarlett, looking ridiculous on Raymond. Scarlett couldn't help laughing while staring at him. "Raymond, you look so funny in this apron."
Raymond looked down at the apron he was wearing. His eyes were filled with tenderness and resignation. "Didn't you give it to me?"
Scarlett grunted. "Is the lunch prepared yet, Mr. Shaw?"
"No."
"Then what are you doing here?"
