The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 196

After munching on the food for some time, Bobby and Nadia were so full they couldn't get to stand on their feet. The giggles and smiles on their faces exhibited how happy they were to be treated to a meal.

But little did the two kids know, the stranger had put something into their bowls.

So after drinking some water, they were immediately knocked out on the table. Obviously, whatever sleepinducing powder he mixed in their food worked magic.

No one even noticed, not also when the man carried the kids into the car.

Without tying them up, he merely set them into the back seat and drove back home.

Apparently, he underestimated the smartness of Bobby and Nadia. He thought that since they were just two little kids, they wouldn't be able to escape or think of something else.

So when he got home, the man directly put them on his bed with their hands and feet free and eyes uncovered -much like in the car.

And as he stared at their fair and cute faces, he couldn't help caressing them with his fingers. Such a handsome boy and a beautiful girl were more than enough to make him a lot of money.

'How much would their parents pay for ransom?' the man thought to himself as he sat on the edge of the bed, watching them.

Then as the sun began to set, and the sky turned grey, he left them for a while and went to cook.

At this moment, Bobby and Nadia had already woken up.

Squinting his sleepy eyes and stretching his arms, Bobby sensed the unfamiliar sheets under his skin. So, he surveyed the shabby house and felt alienated by his surroundings.

Immediately, the young boy had already made sense of what might have happened to them. More than that, he remembered how his teacher taught them not to scream and panic when kidnapped.

"Nadia, don't talk. Listen to me, okay?" Bobby whispered in Nadia's ear, still eyeing the room in case a stranger barged in.

"Okay." Nadia, who had also put things together, was a little scared. But when she saw how calm Bobby appeared, she tried to relax a little bit too.

Then, Bobby jumped off the bed, went to the kitchen and greeted, "Hello, uncle."

The man turned around in a hurry and saw Bobby standing in front of him with a big smile on his face.

He thought it was so unusual for a kid to be this unbothered when he was obviously kidnapped by a stranger. In fact, the man was even more nervous than the kid.

The kid didn’t even look at him like he was a bad guy and instead greeted him with a friendly smile.

"Young boy, I'll cook noodles for you. You sit down and be good," the stranger uttered, waving the pack of instant noodles.

Nodding vigorously, Bobby replied, "Okay, uncle!"

Then, he found a small chair and sat down, holding his chin with both hands while staring at the man cooking noodles.

'What is the kid thinking? Is he not finding this unusual?’ the man thought to himself.

And as he surveyed the young boy, he noticed the branded clothes he was wearing. So, curious, he asked, "Little guy, what are your parents' names?"

"I don't know."

The man was stunned at the boy’s reply. Was it possible that the sleeping pills made them lose their memories?

"Have you forgotten?" the guy asked in disbelief, with widened eyes.

Bobby, on the other hand, continued his pretense, acting so surprised at the question. He then grabbed the man by the arm and asked, "Aren't you my daddy?"

Suddenly, an idea popped into the man’s head. Thinking that he could take advantage of the situation, he uttered, "Yes, I am your daddy."

If he were to pretend to be their father, he could take the kids out easily. It might even be a piece of cake to make money out of them.

So, without any hesitation, he agreed with the young boy.

"Daddy! I'm hungry now. I want to eat the noodles you cooked!" Bobby almost jumped in fake elation, flashing a charming smile at the stranger.

"Alright! Be careful! It’s still hot!" the man reminded, carefully handing the bowl of instant noodles to Bobby.

At this point, he didn't care if the young boy was just pretending or not. All he thought of was how he could get some cash using these kids.

And if anything terrible were to happen to them, he would lose the potential to get some money.

"Thank you, daddy." Bobby smiled and immediately ate the noodles.

If he wanted to pretend that he had forgotten everything, he had to listen to the man. So, even though he wasn't really starving, the young boy acted as if he was craving for the noodles.

"Where is the little girl?" asked the man suddenly, turning his head at the bedroom.
