The man was busy looking down at his hands tied with his own shirt, so, he didn't notice what Bobby and Nadia were up to.
With each other's help, they poured the basin of water over his head. Now, he was soaking wet.
"Little kids!" His tone was as sharp as his eyes when he looked up.
But it didn't scare Bobby. He even grinned wickedly at him. The next second, he had already picked up the thermos bottle.
The man turned pale in fright. It was because the thermos bottle contained hot water.
If it was poured on him, his skin might be burned.
He wanted to stand up, but his feet were still tied! Because he stood up in a rush, he accidentally fell to the ground.
"Down!" Nadia cheered.
"Okay!" Bobby poured the water on the man's face.
The man had gone mad and rushed towards Bobby.
All he wanted to do was catch Bobby and kill him.
He chased after the kid who kept running around.
His clothes had clung to his body, and every step he took was painful.
"You are a bad man. You are so ugly..." Bobby made a face at the man while running.
He was about reach him when the door slammed open.
Charles and Hiram rushed in, followed by Nancy who seemed really nervous.
"Daddy! Mommy!" Their eyes widened when they saw familiar faces.
"Honey!" Nancy's heart swelled when she saw that the two children were safe and sound. She ran towards them and held them into her arms.
"Bastard! You..." Looking at the man's discomfiture, Hiram was not able to suppress his laughter.
"The children are yours, but where is the money?" The man fished for pity. "I saved them. Now, look at me! It's all because of the children. You can't leave me alone like this!"
Nancy lowered her head. She wasn’t happy to see the man like this. In fact, she pitied him.
But this vicious man deserved it!
Hiram was about to move forward, but Charles had stopped him. "That's not necessary. Let’s just take the children away as soon as possible."
It was the first time that Nancy supported how Charles dealt with things. He was no longer ruthless. Instead, he chose to be tolerant this time.
It was different from the way he treated Dorothy.
From the corner of Charles' eyes, he saw that Nancy was peeping at him. With a small smile, he asked, "Why are you looking at me?"
Nancy stammered, "No. I didn't look at you."
"Of course, she thinks you are handsome, Mr. Fu!" said Hiram.
"Well, Hiram, are you kissing my ass?" His smile broadened into a grin when he saw Nancy blushed.
Scratching the back of his head, Hiram explained, "Mr. Fu, am I that kind of person?"
"Well, aren't you? Ha ha. I was planning to double your salary. Now it seems unnecessary," Charles said.
Hiram hurriedly waved his hand. "No. I didn't mean that!
Everyone liked money. So did Hiram.
Charles kissed Bobby's face before he ordered, "Hiram, call Jay and tell him that we've found the children. Tell them not to spread the news. I don't want the kids to be disturbed by the media."
"Yes, sir." In a rush, Hiram took his phone and called Jay to relay the information.
By then, Charles had put the children in the back seat. Nancy was busy kissing and hugging them countless times.
