The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 327

She made it a point to carefully tuck away her affection and love for Edward in the deepest corner of her heart for she was afraid that such a revelation would only be a reason for embarrassment for both of them.

Thus she never admitted the truth.

"I just want to ask you is there anything more than 'like', for example, something that we often do..." Charles sounded more and more inhospitable.

Understanding the current mood Nancy playfully turned her head with a wide smile and in a titillating tone said, "Charles, it seems you have no confidence in yourself at all!"

"Why, why are you saying such a thing? Not at all!" Charles fumbled as he tried to deny it with force.

"You are not going to admit it, are you?" Her face glowed with an even wider smile as she spoke.

"Well, they are my children. So what makes you think that I won't have confidence?" Charles said his words carefully looking right into Nancy's eyes.

Nancy felt as if something heavy exploded inside her head instantly.

How could Charles say such a thing?

He let that out so easily. He did not even flinch once as he said that. How?

The pain in her heart stung sharper than a knife!

Would Charles feel that pain in the same way?

With a pale face Nancy smiled weakly and asked, "Charles, is this some kind of joke? Are you kidding right now? Ha-ha, Nadia is mine. She is a no-body to you. She has no relation with you at all. But Bobby on the other hand is all yours. He has nothing to do with me. You had known this all along. Still you chose to keep shut!"

Nancy was too exhausted to talk about the children anymore, so she quietly turned around and started walking towards the villa without any further argument.

But Charles grabbed her by the wrist. "Nancy I know that the children are mine. I knew this for a long time. Both of them are mine. Sophie found you five years ago. Correct?"

"I honestly do not know what you are talking about Charles. You have lost your mind and senses. It is all gibberish that I hear right now. I can't listen to you anymore, I just do not want to. Let go of me please! I don't want to continue this conversation any longer!" Nancy's voice quivered as she spoke. She refused to answer any of Charles's questions.

Charles glanced at Nancy and took out a painting from the trunk.

It was a picture drawn by Nancy.

"Do you know this or maybe recognize this?"

Nancy could feel that her heart skipped a beat. Her heart almost came to her mouth for a moment.

This guy stole her painting? She was stunned. She remembered very well that she had carefully hidden it in the bedside table. How did he know about it in the first place?

"Yea, I drew this when I was carrying Nadia. Is something wrong?" Nancy lied.

She prayed with all her might that Charles would not tell her the truth out loud. She was not ready to face it!

Charles leaned closer to Nancy and slightly raised her face with his fingers.

He looked at Nancy questioningly.

It seemed as if he could see through everything at that point of time. Nancy was failing miserably at hiding her thoughts.

What was she supposed to do now? She could never admit the reality, could she?

"Nancy don't you remember the background of your own painting?" Charles said slowly and calmly.

Nancy's breath became ragged by the minute. Yes, yes she remembered very well that this was the wall of the Fu family. How could she deny this obvious fact? There was no way for her to deny anything.

But she could never ever admit to whatever happened during those dark days.

All she could remember was the shame that came with all that in those past years.

How on earth could she admit it?

Nancy had to do something. She tightly bit her lips and burst out in a loud laughter, "Oh Mr. Fu likes to play mind games it seems. But why are you framing me in all this?"

Those things... She did all that willingly.

No matter how many times she denied everything nothing could change the truth. It was in fact her who did all those things to save her mother's life from the ultimate doom.

She felt like slapping herself for the stupidity.

'Tm doing this because... I'm the father of both children! " Charles stated as he raised his eyebrow to look at Nancy.

"Charles you are mistaking me for someone else. I am not the woman you think I am...." Nancy was steadfast to deny everything because she did not have much of a choice at the moment.

"Deny it?"

Charles was surprised to see that even with evidence right in front of her Nancy still refused to admit to anything.
