The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 336

Aware that Edward couldn't refuse her, Nadia pouted her lips and looked at him with her puppy eyes, obviously trying to use her cuteness to her advantage.

"I promise that your daddy will never hurt your mommy," Edward uttered, bending over to level the young girl's gaze.

"Why did mommy call daddy's name?" The innocent kid crossed her palms together anxiously. Her young mind couldn't make sense of the things around these adults. They seemed pretty complicated, yet Nadia still wanted to know.

"You should never go out unless your mommy calls for you, okay? Do you understand?" By the looks of it, Edward sounded like an uncle reprimanding the little girl.

"But why?" The young girl was still utterly confused, sporting her furrowed brows at Edward, who tried his best to reason with a child.

"Nadia, just listen to him, okay? After we make coffee, I promise you can go out." Bobby, who was gifted with the skills of reading people's expression, already deduced that his parents were doing something that kids shouldn't see. Otherwise, Edward wouldn't wear such a perplexed look on his face.

"Really?" Nadia raised her head and asked with a pair of wide eyes.

"Yes, of course." Flashing a smile on the kid, Edward was relieved that Nadia was finally persuaded. He didn 't know that reasoning out with a kid could be this tiresome. Lucky for him, Bobby was there to save and help him.

Meanwhile, on the corridor upstairs were Charles and Nancy smooching and locking their lips in kisses. The latter initially struggled, pushing Charles away from her. However, as his lips and fiery kiss devoured her mouth, her senses began to gradually drift away.

At this moment, all she could think about was the sensation that was slowly rising as Charles grinded against her.

"Charles..." she called while gasping for air. Anger was now absent in her low and husky voice. Apparently, the touch of lips against hers could eliminate all her madness and fury. Right now, she was completely lost and her body yearned for more of his touch.

A glint of satisfaction flashed in Charles eyes. What he liked best was his effect on her and how he could send her in utter daze with just the magic of his lips.

"The coffee is ready! Bobby, help me!" Edward’s voice suddenly blared from the kitchen. It was so loud that even Charles could hear it from where he was.

'He is really a good man,¹ the latter thought, arching his brows while still wrapping Nancy in his arms.

Even though he was his rival, Charles couldn’t help recognizing how reliable and virtuous the man was.

By now, he must be fuming with jealousy and anger, knowing that he and Nancy were engaged in such a steamy and intimate scene.

And yet, there he was, playing with the children and keeping them from disturbing them.

If it were any other man, he would deliberately let the children out to mess up the situation, but he stayed cool amidst the entire situation.

Because of this, Charles finally understood why Nancy had once fallen for Edward. The man was really broadminded and tolerant—something the she probably valued in a man.

Thinking of this, Charles gently tucked her hair behind her ears, and the dazed Nancy finally came back to her senses.

Contrary to his expectation, she raised her hand and landed a crisp slap on his face. For a while, Charles rubbed his palm against his cheek, trying to ease the sting of her hit.

He then gently grabbed her wrist, leaned over, and whispered, "Nancy, I know you enjoyed it and it seems to me like you really want to do it!"

"I don't want to!" Nancy insisted, trying to break free from his grip while her face was beet red.

"Really? Is that so? Why don't you look at yourself in the mirror and see how you face is blushing right now?" A devious grin crept on his lips as Charles challenged the denying woman.

"Don't go too far! You have to understand that we are at Edward's home right now. If you hurt me, he and the children will not spare you!" Nancy glared at him with eyes flaring in irritation.

"Do you think they don't know what we're doing right now? Well even if the kids have no idea, Edward is probably aware. If you don't believe me, you can ask him!"

"Charles! You're really such an asshole!" Helpless, Nancy could only pound on his chest as her voice roared in displeasure.

"You keep on telling me how you hate me but your eyes and actions say otherwise." With a snicker, Charles grabbed her hand and went downstairs.

"Daddy, Mommy, we made coffee!" Upon seeing the two descending the stairs, Bobby came rushing with a steaming coffee pot in his hand.

"You're such a good boy, Bobby!" his father praised, ruffling his hair while proudly staring at him.

"Mommy, why is your face so red?" Suddenly, Nadia strode towards them and curiously gazed at her mother, who immediately lowered her head to hide her face.
