The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 379

"So, are you Jay?" The expression on Felix's face remained impassive.

Jay stepped forward. "You're right. I guess you know why I'm here, don't you?"

"Looking for Doris?" Felix replied frankly.

"She is my wife! Of course, I will take her back." After saying that, Jay tried to walk inside the house but Felix stopped him.

"Mr. Fang, as far as I know, you seem to have a lot of women around you. In that case, it wouldn't make a huge difference whether you have Doris or not," Felix said sarcastically.

With these words, Jay's face froze. Apparently, he didn't expect a shabby man to say such disrespectful words to him.

He indeed had a lot of women around him, but that was in the past!

But ever since he had Doris, he stopped seeing those women. Because Doris had been so strict, he didn't dare. Not even once!

These words echoed in his mind.

When he realized this, he couldn't help but frown.

These words-'Didn't dare' were not in his vocabulary. He had never been afraid of anyone since he was a child, and he had always done whatever he wanted.

But why did these words, which had nothing to do with him, suddenly mean something to him now?

His love for Doris had been deeply rooted ever since; he just failed to notice it.

Right now, he was certain. He didn't realize how much he loved until this very moment!

This realization gave him more reason to take Doris back. "Of course it's different, because no one can replace Doris!"

"But she doesn't love you. Jay, I advise you to let her go! " Felix continued without flinching.

With contempt in his voice, Jay asked, "Whose idea is that? Yours or Doris'?"

Of course, Jay wouldn't mind it if it was Felix who was talking nonsense.

But if it was from Doris, then...

His face grew darker.

This was not what he wanted to hear!

Although Jay looked domineering, Felix remained eloquent. "No matter whose decision it was, it's still best for Doris to leave you. I'm her childhood sweetheart, and I can't watch her being bullied by you! I know you are rich, but that alone is not enough for Doris. More importantly, you don't understand her!"

Unexpectedly, Jay just smiled wickedly.

And then his smile turned into an arrogant laughter.

This action made Felix confused. "What are you laughing at?"

With a smug look on his face, Jay raised his hand to smoothen his hair. "Felix, you are really naive. Do you think, love is about who came first?"

Felix snorted in embarrassment. After all, in his heart, that was exactly what he meant.

It was him who knew Doris first, and they had such an unforgettable past.

They had been together for so long; through happiness and pain. It was impossible for him to forget, and he was sure that neither Doris would!

Seeing that Felix wasn't saying anything, Jay continued, "Don't talk about your childhood. To put it bluntly, you are selfish. What kind of life can you give to Doris?" And then he arrogantly pointed at the dilapidated courtyard. "Do you want to let Doris live with you in this dirty and messy old house? Or do you want to deprive her child of the right to go to school?"

Every word said by Jay was light, but it hit the nail on the head.

Yes, Felix knew the cruel reality.

He cared about Doris, but he also knew that he couldn't give her a good life.
