The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 388

With her eyebrows raised, Doris gave him an enchanting smile. "I didn't say anything. Oh, bon voyage and take care!"

"Thank you," replied Jay warmly. It was rare for Doris to say such warm words to him, so Jay kissed her forehead excitedly in return.

"Okay, bye.” Doris bid him farewell and waved her hand at him.

Jay was in a good mood. He didn't expect that Doris' amnesia would turn her into a gentle woman. Well, although she was quite different, it gave him a wonderful feeling.

"You guys better keep an eye on Doris. If she disappears again for no reason under your watch, you'd be fired immediately. Do you hear me?" Jay ordered the servants harshly after walking out of the room.

"Yes, sir," the servants answered in unison, all of them trembling with fear.

After Jay left, Doris walked out of the dining room. Maybe because the breakfast was too sumptuous, or maybe it was because she didn't have a good dinner at Felix's home yesterday, she ate a lot this morning.

When she came out early in the morning to take a walk, the servants immediately surrounded her. "Mrs. Fang, we are sorry, but did you hear what Mr. Fang said just now? Please don't go out on your own again, okay?"

Doris thought for a while and asked, "Okay, I won't go out. But can you tell me what kind of person Jay is?"

She was eager and determined to find out more about Jay.

The servants looked at each other knowingly and replied with a chuckle, "Mrs. Fang, do you really have to ask us? Of course, our master is a good man. Well, he is a good man indeed!"

Because they were employed by Jay, it was not possible forthem to badmouth him against his back.

Doris was also aware of that.

She probed further nonetheless, "Well, what do you really think of Jay?"

"Our master is excellent in every way!" the servants all agreed in one voice.

"Well, he is good in everything he does? You are really good at flattering him!" Knowing that she wouldn't be able to get any information from the servants anyway, she stopped asking. Doris turned around and went upstairs.

But what kind of a person was Jay really?

The more Doris thought about it, the more upset she became because she wasn't able to get any answers. She went back to her room and lay on the bed. Then she took out her phone and decided to search for the name Jay Fang on the web.

However, the result of her search term wasn't pleasing to the eyes. What came into view was about the famous playboy in the city, Mr. Fang, who stayed overnight in a seven star hotel with a movie star.

Doris closed her eyes and blinked hard. All the articles and comments she could find about Jay were all negative and not favorable to him.

There was not a single positive comment at all.

Would such a man be able to really fall in love with her?

The suspicion in Doris' heart grew.

She browsed around the web again but wasn't able to find out who the woman on the wallpaper of Jay's phone was. She was a little discouraged.

She thought that with her pregnancy, her relationship with Jay would naturally be alienated and distant. He was such a dissolute playboy and was always surrounded by many women. Would he be contented to live a quiet life with her now?

Could it be that he didn't go to the company at all, but went on a date with a beautiful woman instead?

The more Doris thought about it, the more depressed and insecure she became. With her memory loss, she didn't have any feelings for Jay at the moment, but he was her nominal husband and she was heavily pregnant. How could he leave her here by herself? She felt disgusted!

Although Doris's memory was a mess, her instinct and personality basically stayed the same and she was still as possessive as before. Or to put it bluntly, it could be said that she still felt somewhat a little inferior and undeserving.

She walked out dejectedly and looked downstairs.

The servants were standing at the stairs in order, like two rows of dignified soldiers, keeping a strict watch over Doris.

Was Jay keeping her under house arrest and preventing her to go out?

Could she go out through the window, perhaps?

But she was heavily pregnant!

She walked to the window and leaned over to gauge the height. It didn't seem to be very high. After all, she was only on the second floor.

Moreover, the baby was inside her belly. As long as she was fine, the baby would be fine as well, right?
