The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 90

Although it was against Angelina's will and she was reluctant to speak out the words "Mommy and Daddy," she decided to give in to Bobby's wish to calm him down.

"Okay, I agree." Bobby's only fervent wish was for his mommy and daddy to be together and never part.

"Nancy, from now on, you may call me Mother," Angelina said intimately as she put the dish in Nancy's bowl.

"Mother, thank you," Nancy said obediently. Otherwise, what else could she do but to obey?

If she were to fight Angelina tit for tat, the only outcome would be to embarrass Charles and it would hurt Bobby in the process.

Given the choice, she would rather take the embarrassment and hurt herself instead.

"Yeah, I have always longed for a daughter and it is good to finally have one,'¹ Angelina smiled happily.

The two adorable little babies were contented and dug in their food. They both enjoyed the meal with great relish and gusto.

Angelina was so happy just by being with them and also enjoyed the meal very much.

Everybody at the table was satisfied, except for Nancy. She had lost her appetite.

No matter what happened, she now had the responsibility of taking care of Angelina. And in spite of how she felt, she could not disappoint Charles.

After having finished their dinner, Nancy went to the kitchen to wash the dishes and sanitized them.

While the two kids were sitting in the living room eating fruits and watching cartoons,

Angelina went to the kitchen and came over. "Nancy, I have something to discuss with you."

"What is it?" Nancy said as she put the bowls and plates on the table and wiped her hands.

"I have a dinner appointment tomorrow night and I want you to go with me," Angelina said.

"Okay. How about the kids..." Nancy wanted to ask but stopped herself after thinking for a while.

”1 have asked the maid to watch over them while we are out. You can rest assured that someone will be there to look after them," Angelina promised her.

"Okay," Nancy agreed reluctantly, although she still felt uneasy.

Without thinking too much, she tried to put her mind at ease and sent the two kids to kindergarten. She carried on with her daily activities and went to work as usual.

In the early afternoon, she picked them up and they all went back to the Fu family house together.

After dinner, Angelina got a stylist to help Nancy.

"Nancy is my daughter now. Dress her up and make her as pretty as you can. I want those rich ladies who laugh at me for not having a daughter to be envious and be amazed by Nancy's beauty," she said to the stylist.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Fu. Your daughter is so beautiful. Rest assured, I won't let her down," the stylist reassured her.

"Thank you," Nancy thanked him politely after hearing what he said.

"You don't have to thank him Nancy. Just ask him to help you pick a dress if you don't know which one to choose and let him assist you in putting it on," said Angelina.

"Okay, I got it."

Angelina had put in a lot of efforts to bring Nancy to a dinner party tonight.

She thought of everything and prepared an evening dress for Nancy for the occasion. She even hired a stylist for her.

Angelina's purpose was very clear. She finally realized that to get on Charles' good side, she could not go against Nancy. If she were to insist on keeping a bad attitude toward Nancy, her relationship with her only son would take a hit and it would definitely affect her relationship with Charles in a negative way. It was something Angelina could not bear to happen.

Angelina would rather be on good terms with Nancy and pull her on to her side.

When that happened, Charles would have no reason to find fault with her. In time, she could even ask Nancy to leave him.

After all, Angelina was familiar with the conflicting and cheating ways of the rich families. Had she not been as smart as she was, she would not have been able to defeat Joseph.

What Angelina did not take into consideration was that Nancy had never been a woman who was greedy and would never chase after wealth. At the moment, Nancy's only concern was to soothe Angelina's anxiety because she was going through menopause.

When they arrived at the club, Angelina held her hand intimately and proudly introduced her to everyone as her daughter. Nancy felt touched and a feeling of warmth surged in her heart.
