Once James launched his move, Yente already sensed the Dooms’ Chaos Power. Yet, she chose to keep silent.

Her expression was serious as she interrogated James, “Who are you exactly? This is the base camp of the Cloud Race. How did you get in?”

James took a glance at her and smirked. Then, a powerful force materialized in his palm as he raised his hand. This caused Yente, who was lying on the floor, to float upwards into the air and then immediately formed a lotus position on the ground.

James could sense the injuries within her. With a wave of his hand, a powerful life force entered her body, temporarily halting the dissipation of her life.

Since Yente’s injuries were worsening rapidly without the ability to suppress her injuries, James had to do something. His goal was not to murder her but to get some crucial information.

Yente’s glare at James was deadly.

James then sat down before her and asked her smilingly, “At this point, you must be wondering — Who am I? Why am I at the Cloud Race’s base camp? Why am I here before you?”

“Why then?” Yente asked coldly.

James tidied up his smile and said, “I temporarily halted the deterioration of your injuries, but there’s a time limit to what I can do. So within this timeframe, you are to answer whatever I ask. If the time limit is exceeded, your injuries will worsen. By then, even if I open up the seal, it’s hard for me to say whether you can stay alive.”

“Ask away,” Yente said. This reply caused James to be slightly taken aback. He thought that it would be harder than that to make Yente open up.

After recovering from his surprise, he asked, “What’s going on between the Cloud Race and the Bug Race?”
