The Almighty Dragon General novel Chapter 4409

In a moment, all the major races were at a loss, unsure of how to proceed.

They could not decide whether to follow Youri’s orders and slaughter the Human Race or defy him. Some of the major races refrained from taking action, but the weaker ones and those seeking favor with the Doom Race dispatched their forces immediately.

They dispatched powerhouses to wander through obscure realms, commencing a massacre of the Human Race. No human could escape death.

In that moment, fear gripped the hearts of the Human Race across the Greater Realms. Faced with the ruthless slaughter by formidable living beings, they cried out to the heavens, but their pleas fell on deaf ears, and their calls to the Earth went unanswered.

At the temporary shelter of the Heaven-Eradicating Sect. “Damn it,” cursed Thea. She stood in the very front, her face darkening as a powerful aura surged from within her, causing the air around her to tremble and agitate the void before her. The other senior authorities of the Heaven-Eradicating Sect wore expressions of fury.

As Youri issued the command, countless humans perished across the Greater Realms within a mere month. The majority of these humans were regular cultivators who had not even reached the Divine Rank.

“Madam Thea, please order us to leave the mountain and fight them. We must stand our ground even if it costs us our lives. I cannot bear to live in such a cowardly way.”

“Please, Madam Thea.”

“Please, Madam Thea, tell all the humans across the Greater Realms to fight to the death,” added another. “We cannot stand idly by and watch our brethren perish.”

In the main hall, many powerhouses of the Heaven-Eradicating Sect kneeled with one knee on the ground.

Taking a deep breath, Thea suppressed her anger and said, “The more dire the situation, the more we must remain calm. Youri has caused all this chaos to force James into the open. They want to kill him, but as long as James is alive, there’s hope for the Human Race. If he dies, I’m afraid humanity will be forever trapped in despair.”

Thea did not lose her rationality. She did not know what James was currently up to, and did not dare to contact him hastily.

At this moment, in the back of Mount Doom, James sat cross-legged on a rock. He had already learned about Youri’s actions. He closed his eyes, and images appeared in his mind.

Countless powerhouses from various races invaded small worlds, ruthlessly slaughtering the humans there. Humans dropped like flies in the face of the might of the foreign powerhouses, their corpses falling into pools of blood. Rivers of blood flowed, and mountains of corpses piled up. This horrifying sight was a common one across multiple worlds. Cries of sorrow, pleas for mercy, and desperate wails echoed endlessly in his mind.

His face tensed, and his fists clenched as a surge of killing intent rose within him. “Damn it,” he uttered, tempted to charge out and confront Youri in a deadly battle, ending the root cause of all this misery.

However, he restrained himself at the last second. The more critical the situation, the more he needed to stay calm. Even though countless humans were sacrificed, if he recklessly revealed himself to Youri, and ended up defeated, humanity would lose all hope. As long as he lived, there was still a chance for the Human Race to rise and turn the tides.

“What should I do? How can I stop this slaughter?” James became calmer, but his heart was filled with anxiety. He had to find a solution quickly, as each day meant more human lives lost. The sooner he figured out how to resolve this, the fewer casualties there would be.
