"Sure thing."
Brittany didn't see why she should be scared.
No matter what the hosts were thinking, since they'd already sent the invitation, she might as well attend.
Her Bri-jeweled Studio could really need some high-end clients right about now.
This industry shindig might just be the first step towards expanding their market!
Kari mentioned some other stuff. After hanging up, Brittany looked at Isaac, as regal as ever on the couch.
Kari mentioned she could bring family to the event.
She pursed her lips, contemplating asking Isaac to come along. It would be their first time attending such a soiree together.
"Zakky, are you free next Tuesday night?"
"I'll be working late. Why do you ask that?" Isaac replied. He knew the industry party was on that night. He hadn't decided how to tell Brittany, so he chose to keep mum.
Brittany smiled, "No biggie. I was just checking your schedule."
"I've got some important stuff to handle that night."
Thinking of the potential opportunities this shindig could bring her studio, Brittany smiled at Isaac, "Zakky, once the studio settles down, we can move to a bigger place."
Their current place was nice, but a tad too small.
She always felt Isaac's stature didn't quite match this place. He deserved to reside in a larger house.
"Yep, we'll find some place better."
Isaac lowered his head. He hadn't put much thought into his living conditions when he first moved in, but now he realized that it was indeed too small, without even a separate study. He had to work on the dining table or in his bedroom.
They definitely needed to find time to upgrade to a larger place.
