While Derek didn't want to meddle too much in Isaac's personal life, and Isaac's choice of spouse was his own business, Derek hoped that the lucky lady would be Loraine.

After Wesley left, Derek headed upstairs.

Isaac gestured for Derek to sit down. Derek reported on some work matters, then said, "Wesley told me you got hurt because of her. Man, you're so impulsive."

"I know. It won't happen again." Isaac shrugged, "It was an emergency. There was no time to think."

Derek took a deep breath, "I got the corporation. You rest up. I'll reach out if I need you."

"Sounds good. I feel better knowing you're in charge."

After clocking out, Brittany drove straight to the hospital.

While waiting for a traffic light, she heard a cry for help nearby.

Looking over, she saw an elderly woman collapsed on the ground. There were people surrounding her, but no one was stepping in to help.

Brittany got out of her car and hurried over.

Seeing her about to help the woman up, someone warned her, "Don't touch her. Be careful; it could be a scam."

There have been more and more people faking collapses and scamming good samaritans.

She had seen the news about it, but she thought human life was paramount. She squatted down and checked the woman's condition. It seemed like she was having a heart attack.

She called an ambulance and then took a small pill bottle out of the woman's pocket. She confirmed with the paramedics before giving the old woman the medication.

The onlookers kept their distance.

The ambulance arrived quickly and the woman was lifted into it. As the one who helped her, Brittany also got into the ambulance with her.

Her car was left on a bridge and she called Hannah, "Hannah, I need a favor."

When they arrived at the hospital, the elderly woman was rushed into the emergency room. Brittany waited outside for half an hour, but the woman had not yet come out.
