Brittany gave a shake of her head. "Let her in."
The secretary, clueless about Brittany's intentions and not daring to ask, led Loraine into the office, brewed her a cup of coffee, and then left.
This was Loraine's first visit to Brittany's studio.
Brittany's abilities were beyond what Loraine had imagined. In just over a month of entrepreneurship, she had already connected with Wesley and her new product had broken sales records. This showed just how amazing she was.
"Brittany, long time no see."
Loraine took the initiative to start the conversation. "I'm here to ask you to design a set of jewelry for me."
She paused. "It's the fifth anniversary of my personal brand, and there will be a dinner party. I want to wear the jewelry you designed for this important day."
"Ms. Field, my design fee is very high." Brittany didn't expect Loraine to ask her to do the design.
There were so many well-known design studios in the country and their fame far exceeded Brittany's. She didn't think Loraine was interested in her design.
"Money is not an issue." Loraine smiled. "But my requirements are high. If you feel unable to meet my requirements, you can refuse this order."
Brittany knew Loraine was doing it on purpose and that she was well prepared.
But she wasn't afraid. If Loraine wanted to play any tricks, she would rather her do it openly.
"Sure."
Loraine saw that she had agreed and a hint of contempt flashed in her eyes. No matter how gifted Brittany was, as long as she pushed behind the scenes, ruining Brittany's studio was just a thought away.
Brittany showed a professional attitude and asked about Loraine's design requirements. Loraine was very cooperative.
After sending Loraine away, Kari rushed in. "Bri, did you really agree to draw a design draft for Loraine? What were you thinking? You know Loraine is no good, but you still want to cooperate with her?"
Brittany sat in the soft chair, "Loraine offered a very generous fee; I have no reason to refuse."
"But she's not a good person."
Kari was worried that Loraine was here just to cause trouble.
"Kari, whether she's a good person or not, it's better to face her openly than to be hit by a hidden arrow. Install more cameras in the studio; everyone in the studio needs to be careful during this time and avoid any problems."
Kari knew Brittany had made up her mind, so she could only follow her orders. "Understood."
The news that Loraine had approached Brittany spread quickly and even Isaac heard about it.
