Brittany jumped at the sound and instinctively pushed Isaac away. With shaking hands, she hurriedly buttoned up her shirt, her face as red as a tomato, and she didn't dare look at Isaac's lust-filled eyes. "The doctor's here; you go get your meds first." She said.

She grabbed her phone, her face still flushed, and darted into the bathroom.

Isaac responded, his heart aching a bit at the missed opportunity.

The doctor walked in and chuckled at Isaac's obvious discontent. "Ms. Dustin is not fully recovered yet. You need to cool your jets a bit."

He could hear their voices even from outside the door.

Brittany emerged from the bathroom with her clothes tidied up. Her face turned even redder at the doctor's words. She shot Isaac a feigned angry glance as if to say, "Look at the mess you've made, making me the butt of the joke!"

Isaac playfully nudged the doctor with his foot. After the doctor finished changing his meds, he turned to Brittany, "I heard about your grandma. All major hospitals are on high alert. Don't worry too much, Ms. Dustin."

"Thanks."

After the doctor left, Brittany thought about his words and felt apprehensive about being alone with Isaac. She looked away, "You rest up; I'll check on grandma."

Isaac caught her by the waist, "I've got someone taking care of your grandma. She's doing fine. You've not rested properly since she was hospitalized. Take a nap now."

Brittany's concern for her grandma was understandable.

But her health mattered too.

Brittany couldn't argue with that. She was indeed exhausted. She hugged Isaac, "I'll sleep then. Goodnight."

Once she fell asleep, Isaac got up.

Outside the door, Nathan had been waiting for quite a while.

"Mr. Salter, there's no good news about the kidney. Should we ask the Dustin family?"

Finding a compatible kidney wasn't easy. If the Dustin family was willing to cooperate, it might make things easier.

"Robert refused to get tested. Find a way to pressure him into it. We need to get him tested no matter what."
