The news of Brittany investing in Dillion Group spread quickly, and the first one to react strongly was Randell Moore.
"Bri, have you lost your marbles? Do you have any idea about the current state of the Dillion family? One false move and all your money could go down the drain."
Randell was a typical businessman, so profits came first.
"Did William suggest this?"
"No." Brittany knew what Randell was worried about, "It was my own decision."
There was a long silence from Randell's end. Brittany could throw in so much money for William! He didn't see it coming.
"Do you really like him?"
"He treats me well."
Brittany stood up and walked to the window, "He's been by my side all these five years, helping me. I can't watch him go bankrupt."
It was as if Randell's breath was choked off. He kept silent for a while before he said, "I'll do my best to help you with the bank. The amount of loan you can get will depend on your efforts."
"Thank you."
After hanging up the phone, Brittany had just sat down when the office door was pushed open and a stern voice rang out, "Brittany, have you gone nuts? You actually invested in Dillion Group?"
Isaac stood in the doorway, and Brittany’s assistant was trembling behind him.
"Ms. Dustin, I'm sorry, I couldn't stop Mr. Salter."
Isaac!
Who could stop Isaac?
Brittany raised her hand. "You can leave."
The assistant left, trembling.
