It was as if a bomb went off next to William's ear. He quickly snatched the documents and began to scan them through.
What the hell?
Brittany's kid was supposed to be gone five years ago.
Whose child was Isaac Salter's then?
"Olivia, are you sure about this?"
"Absolutely."
Olivia, in her wedding dress, was fuming. "We've been played from the start. Brittany always claimed the kid was her friend's, but it turns out to be hers and Isaac's... I'm starting to doubt if the crisis the Dillion family went through was orchestrated by Brittany and Isaac."
"No way."
William snapped the documents shut and said, "Bri doesn't know anything about his past."
Brittany hadn't had any contact with Isaac for years.
How could she possibly know about Daniel's past? And why would she forget her grudge from five years ago and team up with Isaac against the Dillion family?
"So how do you explain the kid?"
William was brainwashed; that’s Olivia’s suspicion. Did he still believe Brittany was innocent?
"William, I know you fancy Brittany, but what if she's just using you?"
"Olivia, your evidence only proves that Isaac is Daniel’s biological father. You can’t prove Daniel’s Bri's kid." William was still firmly defending Brittany. "And even if he is Bri's kid, so what? I like Daniel and I'll take good care of him." He claimed.
Olivia's eyes widened, "Have you gone mad? You want to be his stepdad?"
"Olivia, drop it." William was adamant, "I trust her. She wouldn't betray me."
Having said that, William turned around and left.
