The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 60

Sydney quickly chimed in, "Did she pull the wool over your eyes or what? How could someone like Brittany ever marry you?"

She intended to let Isaac know just how messed up Brittany was. She was about to continue, but a sharp look from Isaac stopped her in her tracks. "Whether she's suitable or not, it's none of your business."

He didn't need Sydney to judge Brittany.

He quietly held the business card, surprised that Brittany and Loraine had a falling out. When he heard that Brittany had plagiarized, his first reaction was disbelief. Considering their interactions, Brittany was extremely talented. Given some time, she would never be inferior to Loraine. She wouldn't do such a stupid thing that could ruin her career!

He then recalled the Field family's dinner party. Brittany was also there. Was she being bullied, too?

So, that’s why her friend was hurt, and hurt badly. If not for her friend, Brittany would have been the one injured!

Thinking of this, a pang of pity welled up in his heart. Just then, his phone rang. He got up and stepped out of the studio.

Nathan's voice came through, "Mr. Salter, Ms. Dustin's studio was vandalized. It's said to be Ms. Field's fans. She was taken to the hospital."

"I understand."

Isaac hurried to the parking lot, leaving Loraine trailing behind him, but he left her far behind.

Upon reaching the parking lot, Isaac got into the unassuming car, started it, and drove straight to the hospital. Loraine stood still, shocked. She had known Isaac for so many years and had never seen him drive such a cheap car!

Sydney also didn't expect Isaac to rush over without hesitation, even after knowing Brittany was accused of plagiarism! Weren't they on the outs? Why was he in such a rush?

Sydney wanted to say something, but got a call from Patrina, "Sydney, I messed up Brittany's opening ceremony..."

Sydney was speechless. So it was Patrina's doing! Messing up her good thing, how stupid!
