She tossed and turned for a while before finally getting up.
After freshening up, she called her assistant to discuss her trip. She then packed her bags and headed downstairs, dragging her suitcase along.
"Ms. Dustin, where are you off to?"
Emily saw Brittany with her suitcase, thinking that she might have had an argument with Isaac and was moving out. "Ms. Dustin, did you and Mr. Salter have a fight last night?"
Brittany was confused for a second.
Her fingers clenched around the handle of her suitcase. "Did he know I had too much to drink last night?"
"Yes, Mr. Salter took care of you for a while. I thought you knew."
Brittany’s lips curled up unnaturally. "I'm going on a business trip for a few days. Please take care of Daniel for me."
Emily finally breathed a sigh of relief. "All right."
Brittany left the Radiant Residences, heading straight for the airport.
She and Wesley had discussed the land deal the previous night. Although the plot was in Imperial City, it was a complex deal. She needed to meet with a few people to secure it.
Brittany was in charge of winning over those people, while Wesley was dealing with the bidding committee. Everything was going smoothly.
Meanwhile, Isaac had contacted the person in charge of the chemical plant. The other party readily agreed to meet.
Noah was younger than he had imagined, with a clean-cut look and a strong aura of competency.
They talked for a long time and finally settled the cooperation.
Brittany was on a business trip for a week, during which she almost had no contact with Isaac.
Isaac sent a few messages, but when he didn't get a response, he stopped trying.
After finishing her work, Brittany took a night off and returned to Imperial City the next day.
Upon leaving the airport, Brittany and her assistant were still discussing the land deal.
"Ms. Dustin, Mr. Salter is here."
