The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 101

Up on the second floor of the Starlight Hotel, a guy decked out in a black waiter's uniform whipped out his phone. After a quick look-around to make sure no one was watching, he gave a heads-up to the guy on the other end of the line. "Pete, Kamilla Lindberg is in the lounge. She's alone. Aidan didn’t touched her. He's left."

"Keep Kamilla on lock. I'm on my way."

About ten minutes later, Pete rolled up.

"Logan, keep an eye on the door." He instructed and then made a beeline for the lounge.

Scattered on the floor were women's clothes.

He halted, bent down, and picked up Kamilla's intimate apparel—a light pink number with lacy trimmings. He brought it close to his nose and took a good, long whiff.

Faint rose scent, mixed with Kamilla's own aroma.

Pete's mind was racing.

Kamilla had been knocked out cold by Aidan. Now, she was sprawled on a bed, barely covered by a thin blanket.

Pete eyed the unconscious Kamilla, and couldn't resist lifting the blanket.

His pupils were dilating like crazy.

He bent down, his nose tracing her cheek and then further down, taking in a deep breath. A bold thought popped into Pete's mind. He was a notorious flirt, always surrounded by women, but he had never been with a high-society lady like Kamilla.

Why was his status lower than Aidan's, despite both of them being chummy with the Lindberg family?

Why did his father hold a lower rank than Aidan's, thereby putting him at a lower status than Aidan?

Why was Aidan the one the Lindberg family's favorite little princess had the hots for?

But things were about to change.

Kamilla was about to be his!

Half an hour later.
