The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 173

As Allison walked by the second floor, the banquet hall doors swung open and out came a crowd. News reporters were pouring out like a tidal wave, scattering in all directions. It looked like some big shot was being entertained there, perhaps a significant business partnership meeting. Allison had to stop in her tracks; the crowd was thick with news reporters.

Then, a man in a suit slowly emerged from the crowd.

This man was handsome. He seemed to be the center of everyone's attention.

Reporters were packed like sardines at the entrance of the hall. They were all hungry for the latest scoop.

"Mr. Lindberg, we heard you're back in town to kick start the Project of Pearl Island for Lindberg Corporation. Any idea when it'll go public?"

"Mr. Lindberg, you've turned down Mr. Oscar twice before. Why did you decide to collaborate with him now?"

"Mr. Lindberg..."

A female reporter got shoved out of the crowd, clutching her mic and camera, clearly ticked off about missing out on the juicy details.

Suddenly, her eyes landed on a young woman standing at the top of the staircase. Using her sharp reporter instincts and impressive memory, she quickly pointed her camera at her. "Ms. Flanagan, we heard you're three months pregnant. Do you know when your wedding with Mr. Lindberg will take place?"

Suddenly, the whole scene went dead silent for two seconds.

Then, like sharks smelling blood, the other reporters rapidly swarmed Allison. "Ms. Flanagan, were you waiting here for Mr. Lindberg? You two must be madly in love."

"Ms. Flanagan, your engagement party with Mr. Lindberg was quite the spectacle. Your wedding is bound to be even grander, right?"

Allison was taken aback. She was just passing by, and yet she had been mistaken for Penelope by a horde of reporters...

At that moment, all she could see were cameras and microphones.

Flashes sparkling.

Allison was wearing a Chanel suit, with makeup on and sunglasses. She looked every bit the heiress, a far cry from the usual Allison.
