The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 22

Lena didn't finish her sentence, but Alexa got the hint.

Lena lived a wild life. She loved to go out and party, and when it came to boys... Well, there was no need to go into details.

Alexa blushed a little, "Isn't that... a bit inappropriate?"

"It's the 21st century, girl. What's inappropriate about it? Do you think you're less than Penelope? You're from the Bourne family, the aristocrats of Northfield. The Flanagan family is just small fry."

Alexa, coming from a prestigious family and being a renowned cellist, had too much pride to be swayed into such behavior. She shook her head, "I'd rather not."

Lena rolled her eyes, thinking to herself, 'What are you playing at?'

As if reading her mind, Lena leaned in mysteriously and whispered, "Alexa, if you keep hesitating, he'll be married to Penelope before you know it. If you're too shy, I can help you."

With that, Lena quickly walked away. Alexa opened her mouth to stop her, but in the end, she held onto hope and remained silent.

Elsewhere, Allison had been searching for Daisy at the party but couldn't find her. Since she was uncomfortable with such events, she decided to call Daisy.

"Hey, Daisy, where are you?"

"I'm in room 203 and I'm playing cards with some friends. Do you want to come over?"

The music from the party was too loud, and Allison could only make out the word 'room'. She headed to the second floor, "You're in which room?"

Before Daisy could answer, Allison's phone died due to a low battery.

Defeated, she shook her head, put away her phone, and opened the door to room 204.

The room was soundproof and the loud music from the hall below was barely audible.

The room was dimly lit. She called out, "Daisy, are you here?" and took a few steps forward.
