The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 273

Christopher came home and let Leah have it.

The two argued non-stop. Leah pointed at him, her voice shaking with anger, "You've still got Grace in your heart! You can't forget her! And don't you forget how you got here. You were a failed businessman until my family invested in your venture. That's the only reason you're successful now!"

As a successful man, this was the last thing Christopher wanted to hear.

His pride was injured, his anger at its peak, "Yes, I love Grace, I can't forget her. What's wrong with that? What's left of the Eaden family now? Leah, I pay for everything you have, the diamond necklace around your neck worth millions is earned by the Flanagan family! I've been too lenient with you!"

With that, he kicked the coffee table over, spilling coffee everywhere, and stormed out of the study.

Leah was stunned. What did he just say? He said he still loved Grace!!

She screamed, tearing and smashing anything she could get her hands on, like a mad woman. Then she sank onto the carpet.

She was filled with resentment. All this was because of Grace and Allison, otherwise, she and Christopher wouldn't have ended up like this.

The noise in the study grew louder. But in the bedroom, Penelope ignored it all, clutching her agate necklace with a satisfied smile.

She was planning to wear a low-cut dress to the Lindberg family's dinner party the day after tomorrow, one that would show off this necklace.

She didn't care about the arguing outside. Nothing was more important than becoming a Lindberg.

Penelope slipped into a white feather-fringed gown, deep V-neck.

She put on the necklace, turned around to check herself out. Although the necklace wasn't high-end, it looked quite nice against her dress. She twirled around, very pleased with herself.

Saturday.

Penelope got dressed early in the afternoon. She checked the time, 4:30 PM, and had her driver take her to the Lindbergs.

As soon as she got out of the car.
