The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 291

Allison stayed at Magnolia Gardens until late in the afternoon, and only left after she had prepared dinner for Lucian.

Lucky didn’t want her to go, gripping onto her pant leg for dear life. Allison had to sweet-talk Lucky, promising she'd be back for a visit in a few days. Only then was she able to leave. Before leaving, she bagged up all the fur she had brushed off Lucky, planning to make a fur ball when she got home.

Lucian stood on the terrace, watching her until she was out of sight.

Once Allison stepped out of Magnolia Gardens, she was greeted by the beautiful scenery. The villa was perched halfway up a hill. After about a ten-minute downhill walk, she reached the main road and hailed a cab.

Once she got home, she found that Grace was out. She hopped straight into the shower, changed out of the men's sportswear and bagged it up, planning to return it to Lucian whenever she got the chance.

But knowing Lucian, she knew he probably wouldn't want this worn outfit back. Still, she was very grateful for his help this time.

After her shower, Allison dried her hair, and while it was still half wet, she dialed Grace, "Mom, where'd you go?"

"I'm at the market getting some groceries, are you home?"

"Don't we have a grocery store downstairs?"

"The stuff there is overpriced and not fresh."

At seven in the evening, Daisy showed up at Blue Mountain Estate with a cake in tow, "Allison, where’s your mom?"

Allison let her in, "She's in the kitchen."

Daisy placed the cake in the kitchen and hugged Grace, "Grace, I've been busy with exams these days, so I didn't come to see you."

"Daisy, you made it! Come have a seat. Dinner will be ready in a jiffy." Grace accepted the cake from Daisy, "You do not have to buy this. You being here is all that matters."

"I bought it to celebrate your good health!"
