The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 300

Lucian walked in, and he immediately spotted the two overlapping shadows in the corner. His eyes narrowed, fists clenched then relaxed. A hint of displeasure flashed across his mind.

Upon recognizing the two figures, his eyes dimmed.

Nicholas was only trying to appease his friends; he wasn't actually interested in those attractive women with enticing figures. He didn't have such vulgar tastes. The waiter seemed relatively simple and clean. Perhaps accustomed to a more sophisticated lifestyle. It never crossed his mind that the waiter would reject his advances.

His lips touched the back of her hand, leaving Nicholas stunned. This woman was actually rejecting him?

He could casually buy a bottle of wine costing more than her monthly salary, yet she rejected his kiss?

Allison was also stunned. She never thought Nicholas would kiss her. Luckily, she was quick to cover her mouth.

The back of her hand still felt the warmth of his gentle, fiery kiss. She froze, quickly came to her senses, and stepped back.

Back against the wall, Allison asked, "Sir, what do you think you’re doing?"

Nicholas frowned, straightened up, seemingly surprised at her rejection. All those women were all over him, but a waitress earning a measly salary, dared to reject him?

"Ahem, Nick." James sensed the tension behind him and his heart skipped a beat. What was happening between Nicholas and Allison?

Nicholas turned around, "James, oh, Luca, you're here too."

James felt that Nicholas was truly oblivious, couldn't he feel the chill in the air?

Lucian walked in, hands in pockets. His gaze slowly swept over Allison's face, paused for two seconds before moving on. He sat down on the couch, his aloof aura making the lively room go quiet. The others, engrossed in their game, exchanged glances, not daring to speak.
