The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 311

"Mom, are you keeping something from me?"

That night, Allison tossed and turned in her bed. Late into the night, she fell into a dream.

At a crossroads, Allison looked around, cars passing by like ghosts in a mist. She began to walk forward when suddenly, a car came speeding towards her. Her heart pounded in her chest as she tried to dodge it, but it was too late. It seemed the car would roll over her any second now...

The deafening sound of a car horn.

Allison shut her eyes tight in fear. However, the expected pain never came. Two seconds later, she opened her eyes to find the car had passed right through her, as if she were a transparent ghost.

So, this was just a dream.

Quickly, the scene changed. Allison found herself in the Flanagan family's backyard shed. A familiar voice echoed, "Grace, I'm taking Christopher out this afternoon. We might be back late tonight, so you and Allison can eat dinner without us."

"Alright," came a female voice in response, a voice Allison knew too well—Grace's voice.

"Be careful on the road, and come back early."

As the mist in front of her cleared, Allison walked into the yard, watching as her mother and father said their goodbyes, and Grace helped her father into a suit. Then a teenage girl appeared, "Dad, when are you coming back?"

Joshua laughed and said, "I will be back soon tonight, and I'll bring something tasty for you."

"Then you must hurry back, dad."

Allison walked up to them. She looked at the girl, wasn't that...

Wasn't that her younger self!

Suddenly, her eyes widened in shock. "Dad, mom, don't leave! Dad, don't go, it's dangerous there!!"

Joshua gave Grace a hug, then turned to leave. Allison followed after him, trying to warn him of the danger, the impending car accident.
