The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 313

"Allie, I baked some pastries yesterday. Wanna take a few to your co-workers?" Grace presented a box of pastries, smiling at Allison. That was when she saw Allison standing at the door, holding a poster.

Grace quickly approached her, saying somewhat sheepishly, "I saw this phone. It's pretty good. Figured I'd get it for you."

Allison seemed taken aback, "Me? Mom, this phone is so expensive. Why did you buy it?"

"Allie, look at your current phone. It's old and keeps glitching. The salesperson said this model performs well. So what if it's a bit pricey? My daughter deserves the best." Grace said.

Allison stared at Grace, "I think my current phone is just fine, as long as it can make calls. Such an expensive phone, we should be saving money. We'll need a lot when we move to the new city."

And the phone was endorsed by Penelope! Allison glanced at the poster in her hand, crumpled it, and tossed it into the trash.

Grace gasped, "Hey, what are you doing? Why would you throw away the poster?"

"Mom, if I don't throw this away, are we supposed to hang it up at home? Wouldn't we have nightmares every night?" Allison grabbed her bag, "Alright, Mom, if you like this phone, you should use it. I gotta get going."

Once Allison had left, Grace shook her head, retrieved the poster from the trash. She sighed lightly, smoothing out the poster. But Penelope's face, her sweet smile, was now marred with creases.

Red Jack Club

"Allison, you've arrived, here’s your bouquet." Allison had just passed the reception desk when a staff member stopped her.

The receptionist handed her a bouquet of flowers, excitedly asking, "I took a quick peek, 99 red roses. Allison, do you have a boyfriend?"

Allison chuckled, "No, who sent these?"

She looked at the bouquet in her hand, there was a card. She picked it up to have a look, it was from Jason. Didn't expect Jason's flowers to be delivered here. The flowers at the entrance of Blue Mountain Estate last time must have been from him too.
