Sarah let out a sigh and said, "I've already said no to her, but that doesn't mean she won't find another way to trip you up. Be careful. And honestly, this job isn't all that. I actually think you'd make a better actress."

If Leah got shut down by me, she definitely won't take it lying down. She might go to Serena, who's the manager here. She can fire an employee just like that."

"If she wants to fire me, she'd need a good reason! I haven't done anything wrong. On what grounds can she fire me?" Allison said.

Sarah shook her head, "I've known Serena for five years. She plays dirty. To become a manager, she had an affair with the previous manager and the assistant manager. Allison, you're too naive. She just needs an excuse to fire you. If you can't prove your innocence, I can't protect you."

"I get it." Allison nodded, "I'll be careful."

"Allison, you're constantly under pressure here and being manipulated. This is just a waitress job; the pay is just the result of your hard work and tips. Maybe the world outside would be better for you." Sarah said.

Allison shook her head, "Sarah, you don't understand. They're holding my diploma hostage. I can't graduate."
