The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 334

Allison watched his movements, a pause of two seconds, then it hit her. The man's wristwatch was a Rolex. Allison had been working here for half a year, she'd seen all sorts of men, but younger guys wearing Rolex were a rare sight. Lucian sure had good taste.

Her icy fingertips brushed against the man's hand. Despite being careful, some contact was inevitable in the process of removing the watch. She unclasped the man's watch and placed it on the table.

James took a look around, his gaze finally landing on Allison, "Betting on one outcome is too boring, don't you think? Allison, what's your take, who'll win this round among us?"

Suddenly, all eyes were on Allison, except for Lucian, who had his back to her.

Allison cleared her throat softly, pondered for a few seconds, "I've only seen Mr. Lindberg's cards. I haven't seen the rest of you guys' hands. So, I'll bet on Mr. Lindberg to win."

"You haven't seen my cards, how can you bet on him to win? You think our cards are worse than his?"

Allison just smiled, not answering.

James said, "Why so serious with a waitress? Wait till the end of the round, then we'll know who wins."

Allison stepped back behind Lucian, watching the game.

In poker, it was not just about whether they had good cards, but also whether they could predict what cards the other person would play next. It took skill, and insight.

Lucian's hand wasn't great, but as long as the others were careless, he still had a chance to win. Pulling off a win in a tight spot was commonplace for Lucian. Tonight, once he got serious, the others didn't stand a chance.

Kent furrowed his brows, finally opened his hand and tossed his cards onto the table, "I fold."

He had two good cards in hand, but in the end, he was forced into a corner and couldn't play.
