The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 357

The Penelope in his heart was always pure and innocent, the girl who once saved him. But Lucian often felt that the Penelope in front of him was cunning and calculating, even suspecting from time to time whether the child in her belly was really his.

The man squinted his eyes. Two months later, when the child was born, he would definitely investigate thoroughly.

Nicholas returned to the private room with no appetite. As Allison finished eating, he asked the waiter to pack up some pastries. Glancing at the time, he said, "I'll drop you off at Red Jack Club. What time do you get off work tonight?"

Allison had her hair casually tied up while eating. Now she untied the hair tie, let down her hair, and carefully combed it with her fingers. "Are you going to pick me up after work?"

Nicholas replied, "I can arrange a driver for you. It's not safe for a girl to get off work too late."

"No need," Allison responded, "I usually get a ride with a friend. It's on their way. And my working hours aren't fixed. It depends on the guests in my private room. When they leave, that's when I finish and go home. But don't worry, I'm always with friends. If it gets too late, I'll stay overnight in the break room and go home the next day."

"Which private room are you in now? I didn't see you on the 6th floor the other day."

"The 2nd floor."

Nicholas wasn't a regular at Red Jack Club, but he was familiar with its workings. Typically, the higher the floor was, the more prominent the guests were. The second floor, on the other hand, was mostly occupied by individual customers, and there was a diverse range of people there. It was relatively chaotic in comparison.

Allison shrugged, "These two weeks, the 6th floor has been managed by another manager. I just earn less, but everything else is the same."

As Allison and Nicholas descended the stairs, Allison's phone buzzed twice. When she didn't check it, Nicholas next to her reminded her, "Your phone's ringing."

Allison chuckled, "It's a text from a nutcase. Don't mind him."
