The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 374

In this place, dignity didn’t mean squat. She was after a better life where she and her mom didn’t have to deal with people’s sneers and control.

Who could possibly hold more sway than the Lindberg family? Who could possibly have more power than Lucian?

Weren’t all these things Penelope did just her way of trying to kick her out of Northfield? Was it not because Penelope was afraid she would spill the beans about the hotel body double incident? She wouldn’t be dancing to Penelope's tune any longer.

“Alright, tonight at eight, I’ll wait for you in suite 8016 of the Golden Pearl Hotel.”

“Okay.”

……

Eight in the evening, at the Golden Pearl Hotel, one of the largest in Northfield and a property of the Lindberg Corporation.

Allison arrived at the Golden Pearl Hotel. The lobby’s décor screamed luxury. She reached the designated room and knocked on the door.

The man opened the door, and a faint, refreshing scent of shower gel hit her.

Lucian had just gotten out of the shower. He looked at Allison at the door, stepped aside, and she walked in. She barely said anything, grabbed a bathrobe from the closet, and headed straight into the bathroom, only coming out after she was done showering.

Lucian was standing by the window, taking a sip of red wine. He turned to look at her. Her eyes were slightly misty, and her cheeks, due to the shower, were a bit flushed against her otherwise delicate skin. Her semi-dry hair was draped over her shoulders, and below it, the deep V-neck bathrobe.

She was quite skinny, so the bathrobe looked a bit big on her.

“Come here.” The man’s voice was slightly husky.

Allison walked over, Lucian grabbed her waist, spun around, and they both tumbled onto the soft bed.

Allison didn’t resist his kisses, instead, she actively wrapped her arms around his neck. Now that she’d taken this step, she wouldn’t regret it!

“How come you suddenly changed your mind? Weren’t you always rejecting me?” His fingers grip her chin, his eyes fixed on her delicate face.
