The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 390

Allison popped open a bottle of wine, poured a glass, and handed it over to Lucian. He downed it in one gulp, then set the glass down. Allison refilled it. This time, he didn't drink it. Instead, he gripped not only the glass but also her fingers and suddenly yanked her towards him.

Allison yelped in surprise. The glass slipped from her hand and wine splashed everywhere.

"Sir..."

"I've told you, call me Lucian."

He pulled her down onto the couch. Allison looked at him, "Lucian."

"You mad at me?" His voice was a bit husky.

Allison clamped her mouth shut and didn't answer.

Lucian leaned in to kiss her, his tongue exploring her mouth. He kissed her deeply as Allison wrapped her arms around his neck. They made out passionately for a while.

The couch wasn't that cramped, but their make-out session wasn't exactly unrestrained. Allison shifted around and suddenly slipped off the couch. In a split second, Lucian flipped over to cradle her in his arms. His back was pressed against the carpet. Allison was sprawled on top of him, "You okay?"

"I'm fine." His voice was low and sexy, "You're not heavy."

Allison clamped her mouth shut again, "So, if I were heavier, you wouldn't protect me like this?"

"That's not what I meant." He reached out, pinching her nose lightly, "Still mad?"

Allison huffed lightly, "What do you think? I waited for you for two hours. Lucian, you promised to watch a movie with me."

She sounded upset.

Lucian raised a finger, brushing it against her nose, "Sorry. I went to the cinema, but by the time I got there, you had already left."

"I waited for you for two hours. I waited until 10:30 and you were still a no-show. You didn't go there at midnight, did you?"
