The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 393

Lucky missed its target as it pounced. It was having a good time, so it let out a bark, hoping Lucian would throw the ball he held for it.

The guy looked at the ball in his hands and said, "Didn't expect you to know this."

Allison replied, "I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve."

Lucian asked, "You brought Lucky a gift. What about me? Don't I get a present?"

Allison retorted, "Are you seriously competing with a dog? I promised Lucky this the last time I was here. The ball is made from Lucky's own fur." She walked over, bent down and patted Lucky's head, "This big dog sheds every year. If you keep collecting the fur, the ball can be made bigger."

Lucky jumped up and barked, as if begging Allison for help. Although Lucky jumped high, Lucian raised his hand even higher. Lucky couldn't reach the ball, so it started spinning around.

Allison looked a bit helpless, "Just give it to him. Why are you bullying him?"

Allison never thought Lucian would be so childish. Jealous over a gift?

Then she remembered she still had a scarf in her bag, the one she knitted herself. So she said, "Fine. I'll give you a gift too."

With that, she opened her bag and took out the scarf, "I knitted this myself. I know you won't like it."

Lucian took a look and couldn't help but laugh. Allison blushed. She snatched it back and said, "I knew you wouldn't like it. What's so funny? This took me a whole night to knit. There are only two missed stitches, and it's black, so you can't tell when you wear it."

She was just joking with this man. She knew that a man like Lucian wore only designer clothes. His suits were worth thousands of dollars, and his brooches were worth hundreds of thousands. How could a damaged scarf that she knitted casually catch his eye?

Lucian put the scarf around his neck, "Hmm, it's good."

Allison asked him, "Really?"
