Even if she sometimes felt that her mother was overprotective of Penelope, she just chalked it up to Penelope being the Flanagan family's daughter and her mom just being polite.

Patty immediately asked, "Where are you guys? Take care of Allison, I'm on my way."

By the time Patty showed up, Allison was already hammered and leaning on Emma. Patty told Emma, "You can head home now. I'll take care of Allison."

Emma nodded and went home, but she was a bit taken aback. Patty was known for not being a pushover and not really giving a damn about her artists.

As the head agent at Epic Entertainment, Patty's artists were the cream of the crop at Epic. And someone like Allison, a newbie who just signed, wouldn't normally get any special attention from Patty.

Emma called Patty because she was worried that Allison getting plastered at a bar could cause trouble for her future career, so she wanted to pick Patty's brain.
