The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 476

Wilton was standing by the door. He asked, "How long had Daisy been in there?"

John replied, "One hour and eight minutes."

Wilton went on, "What was she doing inside?"

"She just watched a movie with Frances and had a little chat." John had observed Daisy for a while and thought she was not bad. She seemed to care for Frances enough, and every time she visited, Frances' mood seemed to improve.

"Wilton," John tried to say. "Maybe we got it wrong. Ms. Daisy isn't Mina's pawn. She seems okay to Frances."

Wilton asked, "You really think so?" His tone turned serious. "John, remember how you almost went blind because you misjudged and trusted the wrong person? Did you forget the pain when that knife slashed across your face?"

John instantly got serious. He clenched his fists. He would never forget that knife. It was because he trusted the wrong person. "I get it. I was too trusting."

Wilton said, "Follow me to the balcony."

On the third-floor balcony, Wilton had already checked the surveillance equipment. This was Mina's territory. She had set up a lot of surveillance to monitor him and Frances. He had already removed some, but he was still worried that Mina had installed surveillance elsewhere. So, he thoroughly checked the balcony to make sure there were no cameras or listening devices.

"You need to keep a close eye on Daisy, noting down every time she comes here. Other than Daisy, Mina and Ava are not allowed in the bedroom, no matter what excuse they use."

John memorized it. "I got it. Ava has been coming over with all kinds of excuses, I've stopped her every time. But I suspect Ava has bought Dr. Jade."
