The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 65

Her hands were balled into tight fists. "Our meeting was just a fluke. I know you might not believe me, but I swear I didn't deliberately seek you out. I know my place." Allison said cautiously, eyes fixed on him. " you helped me out tonight, and I'm really grateful."

Lucian's eyes were icy cold. "And how do you plan on showing your gratitude?"

Allison was at a loss. How could she possibly express her thanks? He was rich and powerful, and she was just a regular girl trying to make ends meet.

What could she possibly do for him?

Allison didn't reply.

His keen eyes seemed to see right through her, filled with mocking sneer.

The belt in his hand lightly tapped her face. "I've met plenty of women like you, greedy and crafty. It never ends well. Allison, don't push it."

A hint of sadness crossed Allison's eyes. "Don't worry, Mr. Lindberg, I'll remember your words. I won't forget a single one."

He stood up, his clothes were almost perfect, only his shirt was slightly wrinkled, presumably from Allison's struggle.

He fastened his belt, picked up his coat, pulled out a few big bills from his wallet, and tossed them onto Allison's face.

Allison picked them up, "Thanks for the tip. We look forward to seeing you again at the Red Jack Club."

Her voice was soft, but not coquettish, her tone indifferent, yet extremely pleasant.

Lucian had already reached the door when he suddenly stopped. "Do you have a driver’s license?"

Allison glanced around the room, it was just him and her. He must be talking to her.

"I do." She replied. She learned to drive in college.

"Drive me home."

"Eh?" Allison looked at his sturdy back. "Mr. Lindberg, how about I call you a driver?"

"Are you deaf? I said, drive me home!"

Allison made up her mind.

It was just driving, right?
