Allison had asked Paige to order bubble tea for the entire crew as a little treat. It didn't take long for the delivery from the local bubble tea shop to arrive. The morning sun filtered through the windows of the quaint coffee shop they’d rented for the shoot. They were filming a scene where Irene and Shane discuss their first case over coffee.

Outside, a crowd of onlookers had gathered, but security kept them at bay behind makeshift barriers. Inside, the lighting crew had done a stellar job setting the perfect ambiance.

Paige and a couple of other crew members walked in, arms laden with over fifty cups of bubble tea.

“Allison’s treating everyone! We’ve got bubble tea and fruit infusions. Take your pick!” Paige announced.

“Thanks, Allison!”

“You’re the best, Allison!”

Paige handed Allison a sugar-free fruit infusion and gave Aaron an oolong tea. Aaron grinned and asked, “How’d you know I’m an oolong guy?”

Allison smiled mysteriously, “Just a hunch.”

Aaron raised an eyebrow playfully.

“You know,” she chuckled, “you’ve got that tea lover’s vibe.”

Aaron laughed, “Is it that obvious?” Truth be told, Aaron was a tea enthusiast; his travel mug was always filled with cold-brewed green tea.

Allison took a sip of her drink and got ready to run lines with Aaron. She had a busy day ahead, with eight scenes to shoot—three down, five more to go. The remaining scenes were all pivotal, involving intense interactions with Aaron. Allison hadn’t taken a single day off that month.
