The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1661

Rosalind shot her a look but didn't say anything, just turned and walked away.

Thalassa went back inside, changed into her formal attire, and drove off.

At the hospital entrance, Rosalind was waiting for her.

As Thalassa walked by, Rosalind's voice was cool, "Just a heads-up, Dad's really fragile right now. The doctor said the car crash hit him hard, and he needs proper rest. Getting upset could really do a number on him. You better not rile him up!"

Thalassa paused for a moment but didn't turn back, heading straight into the hospital.

She made her way to the surgical ward and upon reaching the room door, saw Matilda gently feeding Joshua some porridge.

It was clear from the way Matilda looked at Joshua, full of tenderness, and how carefully she fed him, that she genuinely loved him.

Joshua had just taken a spoonful of the plain porridge when he spotted Thalassa at the door. He quickly swallowed and said, "Thalassa, come in, please."

Thalassa's gaze lowered before she walked in, placing the fruit she’d brought on the bedside table and casually asked, "How are you feeling?"

Joshua, visibly moved by her concern, nodded and said, "Much better, you see, I'm getting stronger."

Matilda shot Thalassa a glare, her dislike plain as day.

Then she scooped another spoonful of porridge, bringing it to Joshua's lips, "Come on, eat up before it gets cold."

Joshua waved her off, "No more, you can take it away."
