The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1759

No matter what news he might have missed, as long as Lysander and Thalassa were back on good terms, as long as Lysander could be happy and content, that was all that mattered.

Throughout the journey, neither Lysander nor Thalassa mentioned their destination. But David, having his own ideas, soon had the car pulling up in the driveway of Royal Estates.

David got out first, unfolded the ramp, and Thalassa, pushing Lysander's wheelchair, made their way toward Royal Estates.

David didn't follow. Instead, he said to Lysander, "Mr. Sinclair, I’ll head back now."

Without waiting for a response, David drove off.

Entering the grand hall, Fitch, hearing the commotion, came out to greet them, "Lysander’s back..."

His greeting was automatic until he caught sight of Thalassa, his surprise quickly turning to excitement, "Ms. Everhart, you’re here! Have you had lunch yet? I’ll ask the kitchen to whip something up..."

Seeing Thalassa and Lysander return to Royal Estates together was something he had not expected, and Fitch was visibly flustered with excitement.

Thalassa nodded at Fitch with a smile, acknowledging his greeting.

Fitch, thrilled, hurried off to the kitchen to arrange lunch.

"Lysander, you must be tired. Let me take you upstairs to rest," Thalassa said softly, pushing him towards the elevator.

Once in the master bedroom, Thalassa expertly wheeled him to the side of the bed, then bent down to lift him.

Just as her hands touched Lysander’s waist, his hands enveloped hers. The warmth from his grip made Thalassa pause and look up, locking eyes with him.

His gaze was deep, like the vast night sky, capable of drawing Thalassa's soul into its depths. Meeting his eyes, Thalassa’s heart skipped a beat, her composure slipping as she asked, "What’s wrong?"
