The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1921

Nobody really knew the details, but word on the street was that Joshua had roped in Lysander and Thalassa to get to the bottom of things. And Susan? Yeah, she got hauled off by the cops.

Seeing how respectfully the director was treating Thalassa, Hertha nudged her arm, urging her to speak up.

Feeling Hertha's impatience, Thalassa smiled at the director and said, “Here's the thing, I saw Angelina with a kid yesterday, and I was curious about him.”

It took a moment for the director to realize she wasn't talking about the boy Joshua had been carrying but the child with Angelina.

“The question you're asking is the same one Mr. Whitman had yesterday.”

That piqued Thalassa's interest even more: “Joshua asked about him?”

“After finding out about the kid's situation, he decided to arrange for a personal therapist to help with the autism.”

“He has autism?” Hertha was the first to react in surprise.

No wonder every time Georgia was seen holding the child, Hertha thought he seemed so timid, barely speaking a word. Compared to her own kids, he seemed way more introverted.

The director nodded, “Yes, he's been an orphan since he was little, lost his grandparents when he was just six months old. He has no family left in this world, the orphanage is his only home. Although we try to give the children here as much attention as we can, it's never quite the same as parental love. Over time, the lack of one-on-one care can lead to psychological issues in many children.”

Hertha latched onto a key point: “So, you're saying the kid's an orphan? Then what's Angelina and Georgia's relationship to him?”
