The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1949

"Send me your location, now!" Lysander's voice was icy with urgency, a clear command.

"Okay, okay, sending it right away." After hanging up, Hertha quickly shared her location with Lysander. She must have gotten herself into a mess this time. If anything happened to Thalassa, she'd never forgive herself.

Upon receiving the location, Lysander immediately called the mall's security office, demanding access to all surveillance footage. He was on a mission to find someone.

As the mall's security personnel worked on pulling up the footage, Lysander didn't waste a moment and headed straight to the mall.

By the time Lysander arrived, the security head had already sent him the crucial footage. The surveillance clearly captured Thalassa being led into a hotel room within the mall by a man wearing a baseball cap.

Inside the room, Callum paid no heed to Thalassa's pleas for help. With one foot on the ground and a knee on the bed, he lowered his body weight, trapping Thalassa between him and the mattress, leaving her no room to struggle. His hands were busy unbuttoning her blouse, one, two, three buttons undone...

Thalassa was on the verge of breaking down, tears streaming uncontrollably as she tried to resist with all her might.

"Please, Callum, let me go!" she begged, struggling against him. But Callum had lost all reason. His mind was consumed by Thalassa; obtaining her was the only way to complete his life, to compensate for Leopold's lifelong regret.

Leopold had died without winning Thalassa's heart, and despite Callum's numerous attempts, whether through kindness or by trying to sabotage her relationship with Lysander, he had never captured her heart nor got her to approach him willingly.

Now, Callum was done playing nice. To him, extreme measures were justifiable if they meant having Thalassa. Just as Callum was about to cross the final line, the door swung open. The person who entered, shock evident in their voice, exclaimed, "What the hell are you doing..."

"Don't come any closer, or I'll kill her!" Callum, in a swift motion, pulled out a switchblade and pressed its sharp edge against Thalassa's delicate neck, glancing back with bloodshot eyes at the newcomer.

The intruder was the hotel manager, who immediately raised his hands in surrender, not daring to make a move.

"Easy, I'm backing off, okay? Just... just calm down," the manager said, hands raised as he took a step back. As the manager retreated, Callum saw Lysander behind him, sitting in a wheelchair. The sight of Lysander's tense face seemed to excite Callum even more.

His expression twisted into something even more sinister as he said, "Get out, and close the door. Leave him here with me!" He was addressing the hotel manager, who looked towards Lysander, uncertain of what to do.

Lysander clenched his jaw, veins throbbing on his hands resting on the wheelchair, his gaze fixed on Callum as he said, "Do as he says."

Following Lysander's instruction, the manager quickly left the room and closed the door behind him.

Lysander's gaze fell on Thalassa. Seeing her in such a pitiful state made the veins on his hands stand out more prominently, his entire being radiating a cold fury.

Hearing Lysander's name, Thalassa felt her humiliation and distress peak. Tears flowed freely, but she bit her lip, refusing to let her sobs be heard.

Callum, blade still pressed against Thalassa's neck, taunted Lysander, "Heard your legs are good for nothing now, can't move, can you?" With that, he moved behind Lysander's wheelchair, securing it to a nearby cabinet with a chain, effectively immobilizing Lysander.
