The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1957

"Business as usual, no profits yet," Lysander didn't try to hide anything.

Zephyr was among the first to know when he started his new venture and had even confronted him about it. It wasn't a secret anymore.

"Aren't the shareholders you brought over from Sinclair Group getting antsy, seeing no profits yet?" Zephyr's tone was casual, as if they were just making small talk.

But Lysander could tell Zephyr was fishing for information.

"They've been with me for years. They know how I operate. If they couldn't wait, they wouldn't have joined me," Lysander replied, taking a sip of his tea.

"You're definitely more capable than Payton," Zephyr suddenly said.

Lysander's hand paused ever so slightly, holding his teacup. It was almost imperceptible before he returned to his usual demeanor as if nothing had happened.

Receiving such direct praise from Zephyr wasn't something Lysander had anticipated, leaving him slightly taken aback.

"Payton's not bad, either. Since those shareholders left, he's started to really focus on Sinclair Group," Lysander said, pouring more tea into Zephyr's cup.

"What's the use of focusing? Without the right investment insight and matching capabilities, no amount of effort can revive Sinclair Group," Zephyr mused, his tone serious.

Those three years, Payton had been too reckless, causing significant losses and weakening Sinclair Group from within. Now, as he tried to turn things around and make it profitable, it wasn't as simple as it seemed. Maybe for Lysander, it would be an easy task, but for Payton, reviving a deeply troubled Sinclair Group seemed almost impossible.
