The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 245

Lysander's threat engulfed her with danger.

Thalassa was scared out of her wits. She worried that Lysander might bite her again, even possibly endanger her life.

Lysander let her go and then turned towards the stairwell.

While he was heading in that direction, alarm bells started ringing in Thalassa's head. She rushed forward to stand in his way. She said awkwardly but politely, "Mr. Sinclair, there's a great coffee shop outside the complex. I hang out there often. If you're game, I'd love to treat you to a cup of coffee."

Oh my God, was he going to her place? There were four kids at home. If Lysander got up there, he'd definitely find the kids.

She simply couldn't let him go up there.

Thalassa's heart was racing. She was nervous as hell.

After she finished, she looked at Lysander with a mix of anxiety and worry in her eyes.

She was scared he'd say no, insisting on going to her place.

Lysander looked at her panicked eyes, his deep voice seemed particularly emotional in the night, "No need."

Thalassa caught her breath.

He said no. If he insisted on going to her place, she couldn't stop him.

What should she do? Her four kids were still at home.

Just as Thalassa was looking around anxiously, trying to find a solution, Lysander said, "It's late. I'll watch you go home."

Thalassa's tense heart instantly relaxed. She quickly said, "Alright, I'll head up. You should go home and rest too."

She turned quickly, heading towards the stairwell as if it was a narrow escape.

Was Lysander worried about her walking home alone at night?

Only God knew, he was the biggest danger.

Thalassa rushed home and immediately shut the door behind her to prevent Lysander from suddenly coming up.

She didn't rush inside but leaned against the door, listening to the sounds outside with a pounding heart.

After a while, there was no sound of footsteps.
